PARENT TRAINING & WHOLE FAMILY SUPPORT WHEN YOU NEED IT

Because Families need to know the skills used by professionals to support kids and young adults who are struggling.

It all starts with Training!

How can families support loved ones who are struggling with mental or behavioral challenges if they have not been trained and educated about the skills and methods used by professionals?

We offer this training and support for families who want to learn new approaches to handle stressful situations and to support positive change. Our Trainers bring methods and skills used in Treatment centers/ Hospitals and Intervention Programs to you at "home". We train the family to intervene before treatment is needed or to prepare a family for a loved ones return from a program/school or hospital.

Example of Topics we can help with:
  • Why is my Young adult not making it?
  • Is this “normal” teen behavior?
  • Autism and Nero Divergence
  • How can I change with my kid when they are in treatment?
  • What’s this Gender Thing?
  • Why is My Kid Still In Bed?
  • Parents vs Kids Behaviors
  • Suicide and Communities

Robert Trout, MA

Trainer and Family Coach
Founder of The Experiential Healing Institute

We are the paraprofessionals and guides who became the Master therapists who trained the staff that help your kids in hospitals/schools and intervention programs.  We now want to train parents and families in the skills used to work with their loved ones. Our hope is to “train” families in the skills and strategies that can become a part of their everyday life insuring support for positive change for family systems.

We integrate philosophies and skills from a large variety of program models to better serve families who need more than a “cookie cutter” approach to their unique child and family situation. Let us help you plan out your families strategy and train you to make it a reality.

GET TO KNOW EHI

“I ask you- how useful is a concept without guided hands-on practice and feedback? To learn, change and grow a person must experience the concept for themselves.”

“Every now and then you meet someone in your life who is so good at what they do they inspire you to want to be a better person. This is how I feel about Robert Trout, a life coach and therapeutic professional with exceptional skill sets and a compassionate heart. Robert worked with my wife and I on the ‘parenting side’ of the family dynamic. This was profoundly useful because we could explore the ways in which we live together as a family. Through Robert’s knowledge and understanding of our son and his issues, He helped us to construct new paradigms and behaviors which work best for our son. We really needed another set of eyes to give a fresh look at our relationships and how to better support each other as a family. Robert provided that for us.”
